Paul Pogba has been in contact with Juventus for a possible reunion after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer. Per Sky Sports, he’s reportedly still open about potentially joining PSG, but Pogba’s representatives are finalizing a four-year deal for the player in Turin.

Pogba and United confirmed he’d be leaving Old Trafford in early June after spending the last six years at the club. He’s been open to negotiating with any team he’d like since January. The Frenchman played four years at Juventus before heading back to England in 2016, where he had an up and down spell.

There were moments of brilliance for the midfielder, but the 2021-22 campaign was highlighted by injuries as he made just 20 appearances, scoring once and tallying nine assists. During his first stint at Juventus, Pogba won four Serie A titles in a row.

Man City was actually keen on signing him, but Pogba knew he’d face far too much criticism and hate from Red Devils fans if he went to the blue side of Manchester. As he nears his 30’s, it’s important that Pogba makes the right decision on his next club because it’ll likely be his final move. Juventus is familiar territory for him and they could certainly use more depth in the middle of the park.

He is expected to explain his decision to re-join Juve in the upcoming Amazon Prime documentary “The Pogmentary”, which is set to come out on Friday.
