The San Antonio Spurs will be close to full strength once again as their best player is expected to suit up in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Kawhi Leonard, who sat out his team's series clinching victory on Thursday night versus the Houston Rockets, will reportedly be back in action on Sunday.

After injuring his ankle in Game 5 of their second-round playoff series, Gregg Popovich decided to sit him out in their last outing to make sure he recovers completely, and gets back to 100 percent should there be a winner-take-all seventh game. The good news for the Spurs is they didn't need him on the night as the Spurs won emphatically in Houston, 114-75.

Now well-rested,  he is expected to be at his best when they face the Dubs and will be relied upon heavily by his teammates to pull off the upset against the Western Conference's top seed. For now, the team doctors and trainers will be busy giving him additional treatment to make sure he is in tip-top shape once again. With The Klaw back in the lineup, he will give the Warriors a very tough matchup, especially with his excellence on both ends of the floor.
