Gervonta Davis took the WBA Superlightweight Championship belt from Mario Barrios in their epic boxing match on Sunday in Atlanta, and his performance was nothing short of spectacular as the likes of Kevin Durant, Ja Morant and other NBA stars were left in awe of his display of speed and power.

Davis won the fight via TKO in Round 11, with the referee stopping the fight following a big left hand to Barrios. The stoppage came right after the Tank launched a thunderous left uppercut to the body that floored his 26-year-old opponent.

Sure enough, Gervonta Davis' show of power even at 140 pounds impressed not only the boxing world, but the whole sports world. In the NBA, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant was among the first ones to react to his win, albeit with a rather NSFW reaction.

Like Durant, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant couldn't also hide his amazement to the win by Davis. Clearly, though, he was rooting for the Baltimore native right from the  start.

Other players like Jordan Clarkson, DeMar DeRozan, PJ Washington and Evan Turner couldn't believe the bout they saw and took it to Twitter to give their respects to both boxers.

Davis improved to 25-0 in his career, and that includes 24 knockouts–which speaks volumes on how dangerous he is in the boxing ring. As Durant said it, even though there were plenty of questions if he can maintain his speed and punching power after moving up weight classes, he proved that he has “mastered it.”

Here are other reactions from around the NBA:

It was truly a memorable fight, one that deserves all the reactions it has gotten so far. It will be interesting to see who Davis and Barrios will fight next, but one thing seems pretty certain: the whole NBA world will be waiting and watching for their bouts.
