One of the biggest news stories to come out of Paul Pierce's number retirement on Sunday at TD Garden involved Kevin Garnett and his hoodies.

During the game, Garnett's hood was always on his head, but it would appear in different positions. One of the most mind-boggling of them all though is posted below.

He stood up and walked and his hoodie didn't move, which led to a lot of speculation about what exactly he was doing to keep the hood in its place.

On The Jump on ESPN, Paul Pierce weighed in on what he thought.

When first asked about it Pierce said he thinks that he tapes it on his head. He backtracked from those comments though and said that is just his swag, and he always has his hood on.

Garnett cleared up the controversy though on his KG Area 21 show on Monday night.

When asked if he put tape on his head, he had this to say.

“I shave, and when I shave I got against the grain so it feels like sandpaper so it won't go no where.”

Now that we know the truth, we don't have to wonder about how exactly Garnett does it, but Twitter once again had some of the best reactions to the hood.

Mike Falzone, a YouTuber had this to say:

“I’ve been thinking about this for weeks. KG’s Head is magic. I’m always waiting for it to fall and it never does. It really stresses me out. KG’s head is like the last couple seconds of a game of Jenga.”
