The Milwaukee Bucks will be missing the services of Khris Middleton for a considerable amount of time.

The team announced that their top scorer from last season underwent successful surgery to repair his left hamstring, and will be out of action for six months.

His 18.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game will be sorely missed and the Bucks will look from all avenues to fill the void left by its best 3-and-D player.

Aside from new acquisition Michael Beasley, Milwaukee’s holdovers, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker, will have to step up if the team still hopes to make a solid run for a playoff spot.

By then, Middleton should be back, albeit in limited capacity.
