Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield is confident he can win the 2019 three-point contest and says the jitters he has are a good thing.

Hield will be competing against Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker, Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, Toronto Raptors guard Danny Green, Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris, Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton, Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki, and Charlotte Hornets star Kemba Walker.

Hield is shooting 44.9 percent from beyond the arc this season for the Kings, which ranks fourth in the NBA. Harris and Seth Curry are second and third, respectively.

It's going to be a good competition. All the participants are snipers from long distance. Booker is the defending champion, so you know he's eager to repeat, while Walker is the hometown hero playing in Charlotte. Let's see if Buddy Hield can win the contest and show the world he's the best 3-point shooter in the NBA this season.

Along with shooting well from deep, Hield is averaging a career-high 20.5 points per game for a Sacramento team which has surprised a lot of people. The Kings are 30-27 on the season at the All-Star break, good for ninth place in the Western Conference standings.
