Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox told reporters head coach Luke Walton hasn't talked to the team about his sexual assault case in Los Angeles.

Investigators for the Kings and the NBA determined that based on available evidence, there was “not a sufficient basis to support” the sexual assault allegations made against Walton.

Fox asked reporters if he was an “a**hole” because of the way he answered the question. That caused some laughter to arise during the media scrum around Fox.

Luke Walton and the Kings are focused on the upcoming season and don't want to discuss the case anymore since it's been closed.

De’Aaron Fox put up 11.6 points and 4.4 assists as a rookie with the Kings in 2017-18. Last season, Fox averaged 17.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists, making that second-year jump Sacramento wanted to see.

Fox improved his shooting numbers last season. The Kings’ floor general shot 45.8 percent from the field, 37.1 percent from the 3-point line and 72.7 percent from the charity stripe.

The Kings have already given the keys to the offense to Fox, who is wise beyond his years. The lefty withdrew from Team USA to focus on the upcoming season. Sacramento hasn't made the playoffs since 2006.

Let’s see if Fox can snap that long playoff drought for Sacramento this season.
