The experts over at ESPN do not believe that De'Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings can make the 2020 playoffs in the tough Western Conference.
When the 2019-20 NBA season resumes at Walt Disney World in beautiful Orlando, Florida, the Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Kings will jostle for the last spot in the West.
The ESPN pundits either forgot about the Kings or just intentionally omitted them from the predictions article since Sacramento only had 28 wins before games were suspended in March.

The Kings franchise hasn't made the postseason since the 2005-06 campaign. They have the longest playoff drought in the NBA.
Prior to the season being put to a halt, De'Aaron Fox was averaging 20.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.8 assists for the Kings. The lefty, who is one of the fastest players in the league with the ball in his hands, was also shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 30.7 percent from beyond the arc and 70.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Fox and his Kings teammates will certainly use this insult from ESPN as motivation once the games start. Most people have Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans winning that final postseason spot in the West. It's going to be really interesting to see which team ultimately snags the spot and plays on the NBA's biggest stage — the playoffs.
Fox has career averages of 15.9 points, 3.5 boards and 6.1 assists. The Kings drafted him with the fifth overall pick in the 2017 draft out of Kentucky.
