The Sacramento Kings will reportedly miss the services of sophomore forward Marvin Bagley III will reportedly be sidelined for the ‘next few games' due to a foot sprain, per Marc Spears of ESPN.

Last year's no. 2 overall pick came up limping in the third quarter of Sacramento's 105-104 double-overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night and did not return.

He needed help going back to the locker room and was sporting a walking boot after the game. The 6-foot-11 forward underwent MRI on Friday and reportedly went to see a foot specialist to determine the extent of his injury.

Sacramento gave a rather vague timeline on Bagley's return considering that the Kings just announced that he will miss the next few games.” They will likely take a day-to-day approach to see how his foot progresses over these next stretch of games.

This is such a bummer for the Kings. This recent setback comes just nearly three weeks since Bagley's return to the floor. He just recently came back to the lineup earlier this month after missing 22 games due to broken thumb, an injury he suffered in Sacramento's 2nd game of the season.

Sacramento had been cautious with their former no. 2 pick upon his return three weeks ago. They opted to bring him off the bench over the first six games before inserting him in the starting unit on Monday against the Houston Rockets. Through those eight games, Bagley averaged 13.6 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 47.3 percent from the field in 23 minutes of action.

To make matters worse for the Kings, third-year guard D'Aaron Fox also experienced back spasms in the first quarter of the same game against the Timberwolves. The speedy point guard is considered day-to-day with his injury. Fox also missed nearly a month of action due to an ankle sprain.
