Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III believes that great things are ahead of them in the 2019-20 season. Bagley is convinced that the Kings will make a “bigger push” this year after having a promising campaign in the previous season.

The Kings were one of the most surprising teams in the Western Conference last season. After having a 27-55 record last year, Sacramento improved to 39-43 last season, which was good for ninth place in the stacked Western Conference.

Bagley told Jason Jones of The Athletic that he believes that they can build on from their success last season.

The 20-year-old forward admitted he feels he made a lot of progress during his rookie year, which is the reason why he is very excited for the upcoming season.

“It’s only getting better, it’s only getting better,” Bagley said. “Like I said I was tightening up those things I was doing and getting better at them during the season. It’s only getting better every single day so I’m definitely looking forward to this season. It’s going to be fun; we’re going to make a bigger push than we did last year.”

The former Duke University standout had a strong rookie year.

Bagley averaged 14.9 points on 50.4 percent shooting from the field and 7.6 rebounds in 62 games.
