Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III won't play in the NBA restart in Orlando, Florida, per Shams Charania and Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Bagley suffered a foot injury in practice recently. He is expected to be in a boot for two weeks with a lateral foot sprain.

The Kings were already facing improbable odds to make the 2020 playoffs. Without Bagley, Sacramento has zero shot now.

Before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March, Bagley was averaging 14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds for the Kings in 13 games. The lefty shot 46.7 percent from the field, 18.2 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The second overall pick in the 2018 draft out of Duke, Bagley played in just 62 games as a rookie. He's got a lot of talent, but since the Kings took him instead of Luka Doncic and Bagley has proven to be prone to injuries, he's under a lot of pressure to perform well in Sacramento, especially since Doncic is already a superstar in the NBA.

Bagley has career averages of 14.8 points and 7.6 rebounds with the Kings.
