The Sacramento Kings completed a blockbuster trade deal earlier Tuesday involving guard Tyrese Haliburton, among other players. However, Haliburton is not the only player that teams are eyeing ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Kings guard De'Aaron Fox and forward Harrison Barnes have drawn interest from teams, though Sacramento is unlikely to deal Fox. However, the team could potentially be open to dealing Barnes and the veteran forward received interest from this team following the Haliburton trade, according to the latest Kings rumors, via Marc Berman of the NY Post.

However, the Knicks have also asked the Kings about the availability of veteran combo forward Harrison Barnes.

Multiple sources said, before the Haliburton trade, the Kings would be amenable to trading the 29-year-old Barnes, who played for Golden State’s superpower teams.

Per Berman, the New York Knicks have asked the Kings about the availability of Harrison Barnes. Kings rumors were swirling before the Tyrese Haliburton trade, saying that Sacramento would be open to dealing the former Golden State Warriors forward.

Barnes, 29, was complimented by New York head coach Tom Thibodeau before the Kings-Knicks game last week, as the veteran head coach said that Barnes is “overlooked.”

If Sacramento were to explore another deal after the Haliburton trade, Barnes would make sense as a moveable asset. He still has value, as he is averaging 16.8 points and 2.0 three-pointers made per contest.

It will be interesting to see if anything occurs because of the Knicks' interest in Harrison Barnes.
