More reactions from NBA players are coming in after the DeMarcus Cousins-Golden State Warriors deal. The latest player to chime in is none other than the New York Knicks’ Enes Kanter.
Via Twitter, he sent out two tweets in response to the big news — both of which were sarcastic in nature.
His first tweet alluded to the possibility of the Warriors acquiring a couple of fictional characters. Since they seem to be capable of luring in anybody, why not get Thanos and John Wick?
Wouldn’t be surprised if I see
BREAKING: Warriors just signed Thanos and John Wick to add to their bench for one year. Lol— Enes FREEDOM (@EnesFreedom) July 3, 2018
His next tweet mentioned NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Is this a jab towards the NBA for allowing the deal to push through? Well, it’s not like the league office has the powers to block it in the first place.

Expect more reactions to come from the rest of the league — both fans and critics alike. But as of now, it seems that Kanter’s tweets take the crown for the wittiest reaction.
And as usual, Kanter’s followers replied to his tweets. With regard to his tweet featuring Adam Silver, a fan said that he’s going to get fined for his antics. Someone replied it would still be worth every penny.
With regard to his tweet mentioning Thanos and John Wick, someone replied that the Warriors might as well sign Charles Barkley, John Stockton, Karl Malone, and Patrick Ewing. To recall, the aforementioned NBA greats went on to retire without winning a title.
