New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is enjoying a productive season and has stayed relatively healthy. He's always had huge upside but has been hampered by injuries in his young career.

Just last Monday, he exited the game against the Indiana Pacers in the second half after rolling his ankle. But Robinson said he's good to go for the Knicks' matchup with the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Still, the 23-year-old is taking extra caution, especially after undergoing foot surgery in the offseason, and the fact that his shoes keep exploding this season doesn't help (via New York Post).

“I had the PGs (Paul George). Retired those. The KDs (Kevin Durant). I had my toe, it got stepped on. So, I had those, then I went to the Kyrie (Irving), the high-top one. I even went to a (size) 16 and I wear a 14, but it still ain’t work out.”

Big men have always had trouble finding the perfect kicks, so the 6-foot-10 Robinson isn't alone. But it appears the Knicks big man has already thought of a solution to his problem.

“So I’m like, pfft, I think now it’s about to be some Timbs or something. For real, bro. Hey man, I’m gonna figure it out. I’m gonna figure it out quick because I don’t want this to keep happening.”

Just to be clear: Mitchell Robinson isn't wearing Timbaland boots during games. He was just kidding. He must be, right? Right?

Let's wait and see if George and Durant give him the business when they face the Knicks. Then Irving could watch at home.
