In just one playoff series, Trae Young turned himself into public enemy number one for Knicks fans and the city of New York. That made him the last guy fans wanted to see during the WWE show in Madison Square Garden.

But the Knicks fans had to relive their misery from the NBA postseason as the spitfire guard made a shocking appearance in the very building Trae Young tormented them.

But don't worry, Knicks fans. Trae Young was eventually thrown out by the referee for interference after he attacked Rey Mysterio while he was hanging on the sideline rope. Bet you didn't expect to see that crossover ever in your lifetime.

It's no secret that Trae Young just loves to play the role of villain. The Hawks star had a simple 3-word message to the City of New York after his cameo.

In the five-game playoff series between the Knicks and Hawks, Trae Young was at his best when at Madison Square Garden. He averaged a solid 24 points per game during the two games held in Atlanta, but upped that to an absurd 32.7 average in three games at New York.

The man loves to play up the crowd as well, which made him the perfect WWE guest appearance to get vitriol hurled at him by upset Knicks fans. But more than anything, they're hoping for some retribution on the basketball court. Trae Young's first real return to MSG should be electric.
