The New York Knicks got back to their impressive ways with a dominant 107-85 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night. However, if they were going to redeem last week's 23-point loss versus the Toronto Raptors, they would need to get off to a hot start in their rematch tonight.

Fortunately, center Enes Kanter set the tone on the Knicks first possession of the game with a thunderous poster over Raptors big man Serge Ibaka:

Kanter has become a quick fan-favorite in New York after sliding in as an immediate leader for this young Knicks team. Not to mention he is more than capable of highlight plays like these, which have helped further cement his status in the starting lineup.

Little was said about Kanter after he was acquired by the Knicks in exchange for superstar Carmelo Anthony. Since then, he has been a model of consistency averaging 13.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. This is the first time Kanter has averaged a double-double since the 2014-15 NBA season when he was still a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As good as the Knicks have been, they have failed to beat some of the better teams in the league. Needless to say, they can send a huge message tonight with a win over the second-place Raptors.
