Kobe Bryant has now enjoyed a year's worth of retirement after an illustrious 20-year career, but even the Los Angeles Lakers legend can let himself go after a long stint without on-court competition.
The soon-to-be 39-year-old was vacationing in Portofino, Italy and proudly showed Instagram his dad bod before deleting the post and going on blackout mode.
“Objects on camera may appear larger than they do in the mirror,” read Bryant's caption, who followed by issuing himself a 30-day challenge to get back in Mamba shape.
Typical of the Lakers' icon — to challenge himself and channel his inner ruthless competitor to achieve a goal in sight, even post-retirement.
Bryant deleted the post shortly after and posted another with a black screen, a sign he has gone into a social media blackout for the remainder of his vacation.
