Kris Bryant is one of the most well-accomplished Major League Baseball players today. The 30-year-old third baseman/outfielder has been in the major leagues for 6 years and already is a four-time MLB All-Star, National League Rookie of the Year, National League MVP, and a one-time World Series Champion. Bryant has played the majority of his career with the Chicago Cubs, but he is now a free agent after spending the 2021 season in the Bay Area after he was traded to the San Francisco Giants. Despite rumors emerging that he will be back with the Cubs, it is still unknown where he will play for the upcoming season. Kris Bryant and Jessica Delp are high school sweethearts. They met each other during their freshman year and they began dating ever since.
But, before we dive deeper into their relationship, let us know more about Jessica Delp.
Jessica Delp was born on March 4, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to parents David and Yoko Delp. She has two siblings; her brother, Tomo Delp, and sister, Joyce Delp. The Delp siblings all played sports as Jessica played basketball and softball, Tomo played baseball, and Joyce played softball as well.
Jessica attended Bonanza High School where she played basketball and softball all while being on the school’s honor list. This is where she also met her future husband, Kris Bryant.

Along with Kris Bryant, Jessica Delp was honored by Bonanza High School for their athletic efforts in the respective sports that they played in.
After graduating, Kris Bryant headed out to play baseball for the University of San Diego. On the other hand, Jessica Delp decided to stay close to family and enroll at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite the long-distance relationship, the couple made it work.
In 2014, Jessica Delp graduated from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada with a degree in psychology. After her graduation, she supported Kris Bryant on his journey from the minor leagues all the way to the major leagues when he got called up by the Chicago Cubs.
In Bryant’s first-ever MLB press conference in 2015, he mentioned that he has a girlfriend. True enough, Jessica Delp accompanied the soon-to-be MLB star on the road during the 2015 season and even Spring Training in 2015.
Finally, in December 2015, Kris Bryant proposed to his longtime girlfriend.

During Kris Bryant’s time with the Cubs, Jessica Delp became an active member of the community. She worked with a handful of charities along with the Cubs’ players’ wives and girlfriends. She helped in auctions to raise funds for charities, and she also appeared in multiple events for the Jason Motte Foundation — an organization that helps raise money support and help improve the lives of Chicago-based individuals that are dealing with cancer.
As of this writing, the MLB is currently on a lockout and it started on December 2, 2015. After playing a year with the Giants, Kris Bryant is now a free agent and many clubs are interested in acquiring the services of the one-time NL MVP and World Series champion.
