The growing legend of Los Angeles Lakers reserve guard Alex Caruso continues, as his likeness was forever immortalized in a stunning mural in LA.

Renowned mural artist Gustavo Zermeño painted the masterpiece, which features Caruso dunking over NBA stars like Jamal Murray, James Harden, Devin Booker, Kawhi Leonard, and Luka Doncic.

The image is referenced from Caruso’s monster dunk in the Lakers match versus the Dallas Mavericks earlier this month.

Zermeño also painted several prominent LA sports personalities in the past including Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, as well as LA Dodgers sportscaster Vin Scully.

Caruso, meanwhile, has been a favorite in LA and has even acquired some sort of cult following online. Now in his third year in the league, the 6’5 guard’s numbers still won’t wow a lot of people, but he certainly brings a lot of positives off the bench for the league-leading Lakers.

His energy on both ends of the floor allows the Lakers to stay in high gear once the second unit comes, as he is currently averaging 5.3 points, 2.3 assists, 1.8 rebounds and in just 20.3 minutes per contest.

The Lakers event went on an undefeated 7-0 stretch when Caruso returned to the line-up after missing the season opener against their bitter rivals Los Angeles Clippers.

Now that Rajon Rondo has returned from injury, Caruso will now have to work even harder to get more minutes in head coach Frank Vogel’s rotation. The 25-year-old possess the height and athleticism to play both guard positions, but he needs to improve on his efficiency from downtown, as he only shoots a 28.0 percent clip.
