Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram admits he’s pressing and feeling a “little uptight” on his shot so far in preseason, per ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.

Ingram has had a very rough time shooting the ball in preseason. He’s just 8-of-30 from the field and 1-of-8 on three-pointers with just 24 total points through three games.

“I feel like offensively it is not going so well, at all,” said Ingram, who has been hard on himself. “Kind of figuring out how to do different things on the basketball floor. I know I put in a lot of hard work in during the summer so it got to come sooner or later.”

Ingram's comments are in line with Lakers head coach Luke Walton’s recent assessment of the second-year forward’s preseason struggles. Walton thinks Ingram has been a bit too eager to show the fruits of his hard work and that he needs to let the game come to him.

Ingram will have a couple more opportunities to work out some of his offensive issues before the start of the regular season. The Lakers host the Utah Jazz on Tuesday and conclude their preseason schedule against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.
