The rumors of Damian Lillard possibly joining the Los Angeles Lakers are as loud as Kyle Kuzma's outfits.

Fans have been making crazy theories about Lillard teaming up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis after yet another failed stint with the Portland Trail Blazers. Now, an old tweet of Lillard has sent everyone into an even frenzied state. Or at least that's what it seems.

Lillard didn't exactly say he wants to play for the Lakers, but he also explicitly said he can see himself donning the Purple and Gold. Oh, he also surprisingly mentioned the Utah Jazz. So there's that.

Lillard, the Patron Saint of Clutch Shots, has been the subject of many rumors recently. Images of him wearing a Lakers jersey have sprouted on social media because these days, doing that apparently equates to the Law of Attraction.

Seriously though, Lillard has always said he wants to achieve something special with the Trail Blazers. He's been extremely loyal to the squad, an antithesis to all the player movements in the NBA in recent years. The six-time All-Star has also said he doesn't want to team up with his fellow superstars.

Maybe except for LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers would be willing to give up anyone on the roster to acquire Damian Lillard. While it remains up in the air, Lillard's old tweet should be a solid indicator that his jump to the Lakers isn't too far-fetched.
