Los Angeles Lakers fans are some of the most passionate in the entire NBA. They, however, are also some of the most critical.
An online petition recently went viral saying Kyle Kuzma doesn't deserve to have a ring if the team wins the championship. Now, it seems misery indeed loves company because it's his teammate Danny Green's turn to feel the anger of the Purple and Gold fans.
The same online petition has been made for the veteran shooting guard, who has been playing terribly in the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat. In Game 3, he only scored two points, both coming from the charity stripe as he missed all six of his field goal attempts in 17 minutes. Green is only averaging 5.3 points on a horrendous 19.0 percent shooting, including 16.7 percent from the 3-point line in the series.
His defense has also been lackluster for the most part as he struggles to keep up with the springy and active guards of the Heat.

As of writing, close to 900 people have signed the online petition.
Green has acknowledged that he's not playing up to par the entire postseason. His teammates have been constantly encouraging him to shoot, with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope going as far as nicknaming him “Playoff Danny.” Lakers coach Frank Vogel has also been motivating Green to just keep letting it fly.
The 33-year-old signed a two-year deal worth $30 million in the offseason to join the Lakers. Like LeBron James, he's looking for his third title with three different teams after winning rings with the San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors.
