Tuesday's bout between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Toronto Raptors featured a heated scuffle between the two teams which resulted in ejections for Montrezl Harrell and OG Anunoby.

Dennis Schroder, the guy that started it all, has spoken out about the incident as he shared his post-game thoughts on the matter (h/t Mike Trudell of Spectrum SN):

Schroder fouled Anunoby pretty hard on a fast break play, which the latter clearly took exception of. Anunoby ended up taking down Schroder, which resulted in Harrell rushing in to the aid of his teammate. Naturally, players from both teams got involved and some of them had to be separated from each other. In the end, Anunoby got tossed for his WWE-like tackle on Schroder while Harrell's ejection stemmed from his overexuberant reaction.

The good news for the Lakers is that they managed to escape with a win against Toronto, 110-101. It was a concerted effort from a shorthanded LA side, with no less than seven players reaching double-digits in scoring. Talen Horton-Tucker managed a team-high 17 points off the bench with four rebounds and six assists.

The Lakers get Wednesday off before facing off against the Miami Heat on Thursday. The defending champs then get to take on the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday in a marquee matchup between the two frontrunners for this year's title. Both teams will be shorthanded, though, so it may not be the championship preview most of us have been looking forward to.
