The Los Angeles Lakers are headed for a vast roster overhaul heading into the 2021 season as NBA free agency is kicking off. After the acquisition of Russell Westbrook, the Lakers are expected to court many veterans across the spectrum. It turns out the Lakers are trying to bring back a couple of players from their recent championship teamDwight Howard and Danny Green.

The Lakers have been linked to a number of veterans and these two shouldn't be a huge surprise, considering they will be cheap and loved being on the Lakers when they won the title in the Orlando Bubble. With the addition of Westbrook, the Lakers cap situation is tricky, so adding guys on minimum deals and cheaper contracts is likely the way to go for Rob Pelinka and company.

A lot of players should have an interest in teaming up with the trio of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis, and they should have a high chance of winning another NBA title next season.

Stay tuned, they are set to have a different roster heading into the 2021-2022 NBA season, one that should be deserving of a title if everything plays out their way and players head to LA.
