The Los Angeles Lakers have understandably been cautious with their superstar Anthony Davis, who has missed the team's last four matches due to a tailbone injury he sustained against the New York Knicks last week.

The 26-year-old forward's rehab process has reportedly been going smoothly so far, with the Lakers even allowing Davis to make a trip to Wisconsin to watch the Green Bay Packers live in action.

Still, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel admitted he still feels worried about The Brow's setback, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

“On a 1-10 (scale)? Twenty? Thirty? Forty? A hundred? Two-hundred? I'm very anxious, but also having the mindset to be very wise and patient and intelligent about an injury to a very important player that we're not going to rush back,” Vogel said when asked how anxious he is about AD's absence.

“We're going to be conservative and make sure he's right before we return him to play, have a marathon mindset to the season, as we would with all of our players, but in particular someone of his caliber.”

The Lakers have gone 3-1 in Davis' absence and saw their nine-game winning streak snapped by the Orlando Magic after a one-point defeat last Friday.

Anthony Davis has fit in quite nicely in his first year in LA, notching 27.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 blocks per game.

Given his history of injuries, the 6-foot-10 star has also held up so far, suiting up in 35 of the Lakers' first 41 games of the season.

The Lakers are still the number one team in the West by a wide margin, tallying a 33-8 record. The team will face above .500 teams Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics in their next two outings as Davis' availability remains in question.
