Thanks in large part to Josh Hart's outstanding shooting performance, the Los Angeles Lakers managed to close out their 2017-18 regular season campaign on a high note, defeating the L.A. Clippers inside the Staples Center on Wednesday night, 115-100.

Hart, now 23 years of age, logged 36 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Clippers, scoring a career-high 30 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field (career-high 7-of-9 from beyond the arc), five assists, five rebounds, and one steal.

With his team leading by a healthy margin in the third quarter, Hart rose for a 3-point shot, knocked it down, then proceeded to celebrate with a Fortnite reference.

In the following clip, you'll see Hart wrapping an imaginary bandage around his wrist.

This marks the fifth consecutive season that the Lakers have gone without a playoff berth. Despite that fact, head coach Luke Walton feels that his team is “on the right path.”

“We're on the right path for where we want to get to,” Walton told ESPN following Wednesday's game. “Really happy with the progress we made. It was a special, fun year.”

Hart echoed coach Walton's sentiments during his media availability, noting that the Lakers remain confident in their future.

“We're very confident in what we have to build off of,” Hart said. “The biggest thing for us is getting the experience and we did that. We all want each other to succeed. We were eliminated from playoff contention and no one went out on their own. Every game until the end of the season, we played hard, competed and played for each other.”
