At this point, it seems likely that LeBron James will finish out his illustrious career with the Los Angeles Lakers. But if you're asking Kendrick Perkins, that isn't a guarantee.

Perkins, who is now an outspoken NBA analyst for ESPN, stirred the pot on Tuesday night with a tweet that suggested Bron should potentially demand a trade back to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are showing serious promise this season:

Oh boy. The Lakers aren't doing great this season, but it's hard to imagine James jumping ship and going to play for the Cavs again. However, anything is truly possible. Cleveland possesses a promising young core consisting of Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and the injured Collin Sexton, among others. They've just won six straight and now sit at 19-12 on the season.

Imagine adding The King to this group? His wisdom and experience would take them a level above. Plus, he'd get to play with Kevin Love again. Nevertheless, let's not get ahead of ourselves. This is simply a Perkins suggestion and we know he makes a lot of them. There is no sign of LeBron being unhappy with the Lakers.

James is being left to carry the load lately after Anthony Davis injured his knee. With the big man out for at least four weeks, the LA veteran is being relied upon even more. While the Lakers are just 16-16, Bron is averaging 26.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per night.

I'm sure the Cavs would love to have LeBron James back, but if that was ever to happen, Los Angeles would undoubtedly demand a lot in return.
