An iconic pair of Kobe Bryant kicks that he wore in his NBA debut with the Los Angeles Lakers are set to hit an auction.

Fan Scott Hurlimann, who met Kobe on November 3, 1996, prior to a contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves, was gifted the sneakers after asking the Lakers legend if he could have them. Bryant responded in fine fashion, telling him to meet outside after the conclusion of the game. Hurlimann even shared a photo of the moment last year, via the Score:

The Adidas kicks have been sold to the Gotta Have Rock And Roll auction and given who wore them, bidding is expected to start at $100,000 and reach up to $500,000. The winner will also be given a ticket stub to Kobe's first Lakers appearance.

That was only the start of the Black Mamba's legacy, logging just six minutes in his professional debut. Who would've known that 25 years later, those shoes on his feet would be worth an absolute fortune. Despite tragically passing away last year, Kobe Bryant's impact on the game and on the Lakers organization will forever live on.

RIP to the legend. Whoever wins the bidding war will be extremely blessed.
