Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has been named one of the cover athletes for the popular video game NBA 2K21. The longtime star will be on the cover of the two “Mamba Forever” editions.
2K Sports plans to release a current generation (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and next-generation covers for the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, which will launch later this holiday season.

Bryant was a likely lock for the third and last cover of NBA 2K21 after Damian Lillard was announced for the cover of the “Standard Edition” and Zion Williamson was picked for the cover of the next-gen iteration.
This gem can be pre-ordered as soon as today at the 2K Store and several other nationwide retailers, with a great catch for those who pre-order the “Mamba Forever” edition.
The current-gen Mamba Forever edition will also chip in a voucher for a digital version of the game in the next-gen console. Those who buy the next-gen Mamba Forever edition will get a voucher for a digital version of the older gen (PS4/Xbox One).
