Kyle Kuzma's tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers ended a month ago after he was involved in a blockbuster trade centered around Russell Westbrook. Now that he's with the Washington Wizards, Kuzma opened up about how he really feels toward LeBron James and the Lakers.

On a recent appearance on Gilbert Arenas' No Chill podcast, Kuzma was asked if he had any bitterness toward LeBron and the Lakers following his move to Washington. The 26-year-old was quick to shoot down that narrative; he expressed how he continues to keep close ties with LeBron and Co.:

“It’s all love. All love for sure,” new Wizards talent Kyle Kuzma said, via Lee Tran of Fadeaway World. “A couple of days after I got traded, we were hanging out, chilling or whatever.

“I came in as a Laker that's all I know. It was family from the jump. And even leaving, it was still family. You know getting calls or texts from Jeanie or Rob or equipment managers or people that work the front gate. Everyone is like, ‘Hope you have a successful career. You’re doing this and that.' So no bitterness, no nothing for sure.”

Kuzma spent four seasons of his career with the Lakers, and he played alongside LeBron for three of them. They formed a bond both on and off the court. At this point, not even a trade to another team is going to mess with their friendship.

Kyle Kuzma wasn't exactly outstanding for the Lakers last season, and there were rumors about LeBron James wanting him off the team. All of this seems unsubstantiated, though, and for his part, it is clear that Kuz has no ill will against James, any of his former teammates, or the Lakers organization in general.
