Since the start of the season, the Los Angeles Lakers' rookie duo of Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball have been playing well. Although the 27th overall pick has shown more consistency than Ball, both deserve a lot of credit for being a solid contributors to the Lakers' cause.

When asked what aspect of their game's are different, Kuzma joked that he thinks is a better passer than the former UCLA star. He then shared what he told him he needs to do better during games in order to be more effective, understanding that if both of them play well, the Lakers will be very difficult to beat.

“I’m probably a better passer than him,” Kuzma said.

“He definitely has the extra gear, but for him, I think he needs to play that way every time. I always tell him that he needs to be aggressive and needs to play with that edge every time because he plays cool sometimes. But when he’s very aggressive and he’s locked in, gets it going in the pace, we’re pretty tough to play against.”

With Ball at the point, Kuzma knows he has no shot of being a better passer, and could only joke about being better than him at that. Despite his struggles shooting the ball, the 19-year-old playmaker has been averaging impressive 7.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game to go with his 10.4 points. Kuzma on the other hand, has produced 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 26.6 minutes of action.

Making the NBA postseason will be a tall order for the Lakers considering the number of teams worthy of making a postseason appearance in the Western Conference, but if Kuzma and Ball will perform at a high level throughout the season, they may get close to one.
