Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma tweets out interesting response on lack of patience in the NBA

Kyle Kuzma Lakers LeBron

The Los Angeles Lakers aggressively tried to land New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis at the trade deadline, reportedly making a “Godfather offer” to the Pelicans before being rebuffed.

Their package reportedly included Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Ivica Zubac, Josh Hart, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and multiple draft picks.

The Lakers were essentially offering up their entire team outside of LeBron James for Davis, but to no avail.

Apparently, Kuzma is tired of all of the trade talk, and took to Twitter to voice his displeasure on Saturday:

Maybe LeBron and the front office are the people to whom Kuzma should be directing this, as they are the ones who attempted to trade him.

Ever since James arrived in Los Angeles this past summer, the prevailing thought has been that the Lakers’ young guys such as Kuzma, Ingram and Ball were only temporarily going to wear Lakers jerseys until being traded for a star.

We heard it back in July, when Los Angeles was going after San Antonio Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard, who was eventually traded to the Toronto Raptors.

Then, just months later, we heard it again concerning the Pelicans and Davis, but rumor has it that New Orleans prefers a potential Boston Celtics package that may include young star Jayson Tatum this coming summer, so the Pels opted to wait.

One thing is for sure: the Lakers are desperate for another star to put alongside of James, and it doesn’t appear that Magic Johnson, Rob Pelinka and even LeBron himself think the answer is currently on the roster.
