Let's face it. For most fans, Kyle Kuzma wasn't exactly the most well-loved member of the Los Angeles Lakers. As a matter of fact, more than a few folks were happy to see him go.
Love him or hate him, what cannot be denied is that Kuzma played a pivotal role for the Purple & Gold for the past several years and that to some extent, the Lakers would not have reached their goals without him on the team.
Now on his way to the Washington Wizards as part of the blockbuster deal centered around Russell Westbrook, Kuzma has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt farewell to LA — the city he's called home for the past four years:

It is clear that Kuzma looks back on his time with the Lakers with nothing but fond memories. He is not immune to the criticism, though, and there's no doubt that he's well aware of all the slander that has been thrown in his direction. Nevertheless, Kuz says that he “wouldn’t change anything about my journey” and that this has all served as a huge lesson for him.
The 26-year-old will now “spread my wings” with the Wizards, who have also received Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and the No. 22 pick of Thursday night's draft. In exchange, Washington sent Westbrook and two future second-round picks to the Lakers.
It's been quite a ride for Kuzma in LA, and we just wish him all the best for the rest of his career.
