Lamar Odom has found his niche after basketball: Celebrity Boxing. The former NBA big man knocked out Aaron Carter earlier this year in a fight and ahead of his second bout this weekend, Odom has bought part of the company, per TMZ Sports.

“I'm a part owner in Celebrity Boxing, so I gotta keep fighting to build the brand, I dont see no problem with that, being a businessman.”

Lamar Odom is set to fight Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband, Ojani Noa, on Saturday night in Miami. He was actually scheduled to fight a much bigger opponent in boxing legend Riddick Bowe, but that fell through after concerns over Bowe's health.

This is definitely a good step for Odom, considering where he was just a number of years ago when the former Lakers center was dealing with substance abuse problems.

It looks like Lamar Odom has ultimately found his second passion to basketball in Celebrity Boxing. Considering he is now a part-owner, expect to see Odom in the ring many more times in the future. I don't know if we'll see him knock out Noa in the second round as he did against Carter, but it will definitely be exciting to see Odom fighting again.
