LaVar Ball may have failed to make all of his sons play for the Los Angeles Lakers, but he remains confident about what they can do, particularly with the recently traded Lonzo Ball.

Lonzo was part of the deal that sent All-Star forward Anthony Davis to the Lakers. LaVar was watching his youngest son LaMelo at the Drew League when the deal was announced, but instead of getting disappointed, the Ball family patriarch confidently said that Zo will be fine.

An incoming third-year guard, Lonzo Ball will now have the opportunity to play with projected first pick Zion Williamson. But for LaVar Ball, his son will be just fine because ‘he can play with anybody.'

Lonzo Ball has already shown flashes of being a decent two-way guard. He can score, rebound, pass, and defend. Although he's still a work in progress offensively, he can definitely make his teammates better.

Prior to being traded, there were reports that Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry loved Lonzo Ball, and for someone who has been able to coach Steve Nash in the past, he can definitely mentor the young guard.

Now, the question remains: With Lonzo joining the Pelicans, will LaVar Ball be able to convince them to give his other sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, a chance to play with their brother?

The answer to that could come in next week's draft, or in summer league.

Or maybe never.

After all, LaVar said Zo can play with anybody.

He can definitely play without his siblings.
