The rise of Twitter has completely changed the way sports discourse works, for better or for worse. Suddenly, anyone with a working internet connection has the ability to broadcast his thoughts to the world. This has been the case in the NBA Finals series between the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors. Twitter users just can't help but analyze the game at hand, much to the chagrin of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

During Game 2 of the Finals, LeBron James tweeted out something regarding these Twitter “experts.” The Lakers star noted that everyone seemed to act like a bonafide basketball savant when it comes to their takes on the bird app.

The Lakers star isn't wrong: there are plenty of people who pretend like they know it all on Twitter. Log on to the app during any game, and you'll find a couple of arm-chair analysts reacting to any mistake by any team. As one of the best basketball players in the world, all that criticism seems to fascinate LeBron.

LeBron is currently at home watching the Finals like the rest of NBA Twitter. However, the Lakers star would rather want to play on the grandest stage at this point. His team severely disappointed this season, as they failed to make it to the Play-In Tournament.

Help could be on the horizon for the Lakers, though. After a rough season with Frank Vogel at the helm, the team turns to Darvin Ham to hopefully lead this team to the promised land. Next season will be their potentially last real shot at an NBA title in a long time.
