LeBron James chimes in on Lakers’ latest signing
The Los Angeles Lakers officially brought back Dr. Judy Seto on Friday and LeBron James is excited about it.
Seto will the the Lakers’ Director of Sports Performance. She worked with the franchise from 2011-16 and has a close relationship with Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

James missed 17 consecutive games in 2018-19 after suffered a serious left groin injury on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors. Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart all missed extensive time too due to injuries. It’s good to see the Lakers hiring a renowned doctor.
In his first season with the Lakers, LeBron averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists while shooting 51.0 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from beyond the arc and 66.5 percent from the free-throw line. The four-time MVP recorded 32 double-doubles and eight triple-doubles, but the Lakers missed the postseason. The team just wasn’t able to rebound from the 6-11 stretch during James’ absence.
Bringing back Dr. Seto is a big step in the right direction. Now, Los Angeles has to improve on the court by signing a star player in free agency this summer. Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler and Kemba Walker are the notable All-Stars who enter free agency this offseason. The Purple and Gold have cap space to sign one max contract player.
