Six games into the season, and Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis already seem to have great chemistry on the court, especially in the pick-and-roll game.

Everyone knew James and Davis were going to be a dynamic duo for the Lakers, but most pundits thought it would take time for the two to mesh on the court.

That hasn't been the case at all, as LeBron and AD are flourishing together and clicking on all cylinders. And what is even scarier is that James thinks the chemistry will get even better as the season moves along:

“I think it’s getting better and better as the days go on,” James said, via K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago. “It’s just like with any relationship, the relationship on the court and relationship with someone off the floor, the more and more time you spend together, if you guys have the same goals in mind, the same drive, it organically happens. We’re the captains and leaders of the team along with Rajon (Rondo) and some other guys as well. It starts with us.”

Davis is averaging 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 3.0 blocks on the season for the Lakers. He’s shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 22.2 percent from beyond the arc and 88.3 percent from the free-throw line.

AD won the Player of the Week Award for week 2 of the NBA season.

James, meanwhile, is putting up 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 11.2 assists. The four-time MVP and three-time champion is shooting 47.4 percent from the floor.
