Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James talked to his Instagram followers on Thursday night, tackling imaginary scenarios to the reality of a quarantine period to flatten the curve in this hiatus of the 2019-20 NBA season due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Asked if he's enjoying what's now been a week-long break from the action, the Lakers forward quipped:

“No, no I miss playing ball. I miss doing what I do,” said James in his first Instagram Live session. “I miss being in front of the Lakers faithful. I miss being in front of the opposing fans when I'm on the road… we [were] hitting our stride.”

James and the Lakers carved up 5.5 games of separation with their rival Los Angeles Clippers. They raced to the top of the Western Conference, even threatening the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record after they lost three straight.

The King is likely hopeful to resume the season as soon as possible to wrap up what has been a true showcase of his skill, now that he has a superstar to play alongside him.

James leads the league in assists with 10.6 dimes per game while scoring 25.7 points and pulling down 7.9 boards per game in his 17th NBA season.
