LeBron James pulled out his best game for an extremely pivotal matchup, scoring 56 points against the Golden State Warriors to power the Los Angeles Lakers to a win. It was a game that was so amazing to watch, both for fans and the players themselves.

It turns out, not even the King is immune to some team traditions. LeBron James' Lakers teammates mobbed him during his post-game presser, dousing him in water as most teams often do when a player has a big game. Take a look at this (via ESPN)

It was a shower-worthy performance from LeBron, who did the heavy lifting on an injured knee. He scored 56 points on 19-of-31 shooting, and grabbed 10 rebounds. The Lakers star did have an uncharacteristically low assist number, but if you're scoring as well as LeBron did, why would you even pass the ball?

All in all, it was one of the best games of LeBron's long career. It might not have been as impactful as, say, his 2016 Finals run, but the sheer magnitude of his production warrants enough attention. The Lakers needed every single bit of his production, too: Anthony Davis didn't play in this game.

This performance is a nice break from the drama-heavy atmosphere that has surrounded the Lakers as of late. With rumors of benching Russell Westbrook to a dissonance between Frank Vogel and the higher-ups, there has been a lot of off-court talk surrounding LA this past week. For a few days, Los Angeles fans get a break from these issues.
