For those asking LeBron James' favorite holiday, the Los Angeles Lakers star made it abundantly clear on Sunday: it's Mother's Day.

In a rather heartwarming post on Facebook, the Lakers forward showed how he celebrated the important event with his wife, Savannah James, his mom Gloria James, and his kids. The King also made sure to greet every mom out there, highlighting that they are “extremely appreciated.”

Growing up without a father, LeBron James has nothing but love and appreciation for all women who makes sure their kids are well fed and taken care of–just like how her mom raised him.

The absence of his father also inspired the Lakers star to be a better father. While he has a slew of haters as a basketball player, no one can deny that he is a role model off the court–not only for kids but for all men.

After celebrating Mother's Day, Lakers fans are certainly hoping this will inspire LeBron to come back sooner rather than later. After losing their tie-breaker to the Trail Blazers, Los Angeles needs every win they can get to avoid the play-in tournament.

It  is still unknown when LeBron will be able to return to the Lakers roster after suffering another ankle injury earlier this May. There are reports he'll be able to come back in the Purple and Gold's final two games of the regular season, but that really depends on his condition since LA will likely not rush him until he is 100 percent.
