This weekend, Los Angeles Lakers three-time NBA champ LeBron James had one of the proudest moments of his life as a father, as he witnessed his son, Bronny, put forth an outstanding performance on the basketball court. Bronny led the Sierra Canyon High School team to a tightly contested victory against no less than LeBron's own alma matter, St. Vincent-St. Mary.

On Sunday, LeBron had his turn to take the court, and true to form, he logged another tremendous performance in a victory against the Atlanta Hawks. Following L.A.'s 101-96 win, however, James joked that the way his body felt after the game makes him think that he might not be in the NBA anymore when it's Bronny's turn to come into the league:

James has been very open about wanting to play in the NBA with his son, and Bronny's noteworthy play of late makes us think that this is very much possible. However, James Jr. is currently just in his first year of high school, so LeBron will need to wait a while before his first-born becomes eligible for the NBA Draft.

That's still quite some time away, and considering how LeBron is already 34 and playing in Season 17, this dream is even more daunting for the 15-time All-Star. Nevertheless, one thing we know about LeBron is that his focus and determination is second to none. He has obviously set his sights on being able to share the court with his son, so aside from a major injury, it's hard to imagine what's going to stop him from doing the same.
