When LeBron James signed with the Los Angeles Lakers this past summer, Hollywood was salivating over the prospect of James and Lonzo Ball teaming up for the next several years.
On Saturday night against the Charlotte Hornets, everyone received a glimpse of just what these two are capable of in tandem:

Lakers fans have had visions of Showtime dancing in their heads ever since the days of Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar ended. Now, James and Ball are doing their best to satisfy those cravings.
Article Continues BelowWe have come to expect these types of performances from LeBron James, a man who can garner triple-doubles in his sleep, but for Lonzo Ball, this is huge. He has had a brilliant night against the Hornets, flashing his potential in transition and defensively as well as in scoring.

The funny thing is, Lonzo Ball was kind of the forgotten man this past summer, as most fans and pundits outside of California were thinking of the potential of LeBron with Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma. As a matter of fact, some questioned whether or not Ball would even be on the roster come opening night due to James' checkered history with Ball's controversial father, LaVar.
But, James appears to love playing with Ball, and the two seem to have a bright future ahead of them for the Lakers.
