One thing that incredibly talented athletes are always looking for is more motivation. In the case of LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, he is always looking for more reasons to destroy whatever team or player is in front of him.

On Monday night, LeBron dropped a season-high 46 points on his former team, Cleveland Cavaliers, on the way to a Lakers win, including a staggering 21-point fourth quarter.

But after The King missed a buzzer-beating shot to end the third quarter, a Cavaliers front office executive got overly excited, which caught LeBron's attention. Now, a few days later, LBJ has made it clear that the executive’s celebration played a big role in him erupting in the final period.

LeBron posted on his Instagram Story, harkening back to Michael Jordan’s famous “And I took that personally” quote from The Last Dance documentary.

Of course, the four-time NBA MVP is always motivated as he has been quoted saying he is still “chasing ghosts” in his career, including Jordan. The 36-year-old LeBron hasn't been shy in wanting to stake his claim to the lofty GOAT tag that many believe belongs to His Airness.

LBJ and MJ are neck and neck in many notable statistics, with LeBron surpassing Jordan in various NBA records. Although for most fans, Jordan's six rings always trump LeBron's four.

LeBron has already passed Michael Jordan in win shares due to his longevity and he will likely be second behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar by the time this season is over.

Either way, LeBron James still has plenty of things to take “personally” this year.
