Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was clearly frustrated after seeing his hometown team Cleveland Browns loss a narrow game to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

The Browns actually looked like they were on their way to massive win after leading 22-10 at the half, propelled by Baker Mayfield's brilliant passing game. Unfortunately, Patrick Mahomes happened as the Chiefs staged a huge comeback to beat Cleveland 32-29 and take the W.

LeBron, who was really active on Twitter throughout the game, took it to the social media platform to express his disappointment that the Browns loss. The Lakers forward didn't have to write anything, though, as his gif of actor JK Simmons yelling “Damn it” says it all.

LeBron James was really invested in his support of the Browns. Obviously, he was tuned in and cheering for Cleveland to beat the Super Bowl finalists and open the 2021 season on a great note.

Unfortunately, Mahomes and the Chiefs proved to be too much for the Browns. While Mayfield played well, it was not enough to slow down Kansas City's high-octane offense.

Sure, LeBron was impressed by Mahomes and his 75-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill early in the fourth quarter. However, had the Lakers forward known that it would end on a sour note for the Browns, he'd likely want to keep his awe to himself.

It's just the opener and the Browns have a lot of positives to take from the narrow defeat. However, LeBron, Cleveland and any athlete for that matter know that it would have been better with the victory.
