Not one, not two … but three. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is now the proud owner of three multi-million dollar homes in the West L.A. area.

On Wednesday, James finally closed a deal on a $36.8 million mansion in Beverly Hills. The Mediterranean-style villa features one of the biggest driveway gates in existence, along with a library, swimming pool, movie theater, multiple dining areas and guesthouses, a tennis court with a viewing pavilion, and every other amenity and ornate feature you can imagine.

The 2.5-acre property also features picturesque views of the City of Angels, stretching over the Pacific Ocean.

The home currently has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two guesthouses, though the Lakers star is reportedly likely to tear it down and build a new living space. You can check out a closer look inside The King's new 13,000-square foot castle, courtesy of Hilton & Hyland.

The lavish Hollywood compound was once occupied by the legendary actress Katharine Hepburn, who leased the property from Howard Hughes in the late 1940s. Soap opera icon Lee Phillip Bell owned the residence from 1986 until her death this past March. The estate hit the market in June with a price tag of $39 million, meaning the Lakers forward acquired it on a six percent discount.

The four-time MVP made about $37 million in salary for the Lakers in the 2019-20 season, and many, many millions more off-the-court.

James also owns two mansions in L.A.’s upscale Brentwood neighborhood. He purchased the first for $21 million, and it remains mostly vacant since. The second Brentwood mansion, purchased for $23 million in 2017, has been the James family's primary residence during his stint with the Lakers.

After scoring a win in the real estate column, LeBron James will look to cap off his Wednesday with a victory in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.
