With both the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers out of the NBA playoffs, Space Jam 2 has become the biggest hoops event in Hollywood. LeBron James' starring role in the cult classic film franchise made famous by Michael Jordan has been years in the making, and it's finally being seen by eyeballs around the world.

One such pair of eyeballs belongs to world-renowned singer Nick Jonas. The youngest of the Jonas Brothers trio was clearly revved up after watching the flick, shouting out the Lakers star in his message as well. But of course, Nick Jonas has some skin in the game, with his song “Mercy” being part of the movie's official soundtrack.

It didn't take long before LeBron James himself caught wind of the singer's praise. The Lakers frontman sent out a short message of appreciation, and also revealed how he's actually a fan of Nick Jonas's song as well.

Nick Jonas to the Lakers, confirmed? Or maybe we see LeBron James producing a collab with the JoBros down the line. Either crossover would equally be as entertaining. While King James is now focusing on his outside work and spending time with Bronny, you know he'll get back in the lab once the NBA season rolls around. Until then, let's allow the Lakers superstar to catch some down time.
