LeBron James usually just shows highlights of his sons along with simple reactions to their progress. On Thursday, however, the Los Angeles Lakers star sent a strong message to Bronny James and offered him some advice as he works his way up in the basketball scene.
On Instagram, the Lakers forward once again shared a highlight reel of Bronny. This time, however, he had some encouraging words for his eldest son as he pushed him to keep grinding.
“Young [King] coming for what’s his! Don’t want nothing given, everything is EARNED!! Let’s keep working kid!” LeBron James wrote on the caption of his post.
James has been sharing a ton of highlights and photos of Bronny and Bryce James recently as he continues to help coach them in their basketball games. The two are playing in a tournament called “The Battle,” and they have certainly shown tons of improvement.
For one, Bronny was actually seen displaying his insane hops with a thunderous dunk–as well as a LeBron-like chasedown block.

As a lot of fans may have known by now, though, LeBron's encouragement comes amid news of Bronny slipping in the national rankings. In a previous report, Bronny's stock dropped to number 60 after being ranked no. 30 four months earlier.
Clearly, Bronny is working hard not only to improve his skillset but also show everyone that he can deliver and use those skills when needed. Lucky for the youngster, he has one of the greatest players ever guiding him and supporting him throughout.
