More women athletes are making their mark and breaking the glass ceiling. They have put the entire world on notice, and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is all for it.

LeBron has always championed female athletes, saluting them on social media whenever they make accomplishments or even when they rail against social injustice. On Thursday, LeBron posted on Twitter a video tribute to women athletes making a cultural impact, including WNBA star Sue Bird, San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon, and US Women's Soccer Team member Kelley O'Hara to name a few.

LeBron accompanied it with the caption: “Here's to women changing the world everywhere.”

Bird recently won her fifth gold medal in the Olympics, Hammon is blazing the trail for female coaches in the NBA, while O'Hara continues to inspire girls to play soccer. Their accomplishments, along with other game-changing women across the globe, aren't lost on LeBron.

The four-time NBA champion has always supported the journeys and aspirations of female athletes, even producing a documentary series on tennis star Naomi Osaka on Netflix. Osaka has become vocal on social justice and mental health, and LeBron hoped to create more awareness regarding the issues.

The 36-year-old LeBron has a young daughter, Zhuri, so he knows how super important it is for her to have role models, regardless of background or field. And advocating for the causes of women will surely help his little princess appreciate her worth even more when she grows up.

Continue doing you, LeBron James.
