LiAngelo Ball is receiving some press time as of late. He's working with several NBA teams in preparation for the 2018 NBA Draft. He was recently asked what it was like playing for a Lithuanian professional ball club against suiting up for UCLA, and if it was enough to prepare him for the NBA.

As reported by Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, Ball said:

“I think it prepared me a little better as far as going against grown men that care about their job every day because if you're not producing out there they'll fire you quick. Every game it's hard out there.”

Ball also shared his new mindset — a critical thing he learned while playing in Lithuania. According to him, when the coach sends him to play, his mindset is to work hard and produce. As per Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN:

“Oh that changed a lot,” he said. “Because if you are not producing over there, they won't ask no questions, they'll just take you off the team like that. You won't get paid or whatever. You got to come in every time ready to play your hardest and produce. That changed my mindset. Every time I hit the court I have to come out and play my hardest.”

Ball shared that he'll also work out for the Golden State Warriors. It'll be a long summer for Ball. His back is against the wall. But he has the genes and spirit to fight through it.
